  •  There's no way in hell MTV is as "shocking or edgy" as days passed. Everything on MTV is either overtly PC, manufactured reality TV shows about pregnant girls/Jersey shore, or censored content in one way or another. If anything, MTV has become a bland mainstream general interest channel.

  • This is why TV viewership is sinking. Sanitizing everything for the masses is lame. Basic cable channels are well within' their right to air things uncensored. They just CHOOSE not to, so they can't complain if nobody watches a watered-down Sesame Street version of an edgy show.
